Defending Those Who Defend Our Country

All service members in the U.S. armed forces are subject to the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) and codes of conduct. This is similar to civilian law in many ways, including the protection under the Constitution and the right to counsel. However, there are also a number of unique legal issues, rules and procedures where an attorney with a background in military law is a necessity.

Christopher D. Thomas Attorney at Law is led by a former felony-level prosecuting attorney for the U.S. Air Force's active-duty Judge Advocate General's (JAG) Corps. Mr. Thomas was on active duty from 2001-2004 and a reservist with the present rank of captain. While now in private practice, he is still certified to provide legal representation to military personnel here in Hawaii, as well as Guam, Japan, Korea and elsewhere. He is a litigator who will always fight to protect the rights of our clients. Whether you are facing a court-martial or involved in a military divorce, he is a lawyer who understands the legal issues as well as the impact on individuals and their families.
